  1. Nice job, I really like the fire. One idea for the decking is to install it with a gap between each board, like a deck usually is built. That should allow for moisture to escape.

    1. Thanks Dennis. Spacers would likely help there so the boards don't shift. I like the gap idea rather than drilling holes...

      Simple, but classic inaugural boat video. The fire and the rain together would be the best combination, if you could follow my prescription and stop all that stinking working!

      Reading your and Dennis' comments made me wonder if some type of gap strip or joining strip that already has holes in it might exist?

    3. Thanks Yoda! And Happy Thanksgiving to all my American readers! I'm getting closer to a decision on the composite deck planks. I might just put some spacers at either end to hold the planks slightly apart.
